It’s been a good start to the season so far, with Bayern still unbeaten after four games and dropping points just once. Bayern started with three consecutive wins, beating Werder Bremen, Augsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach before the international break.


Bochum, meanwhile, are in their third successive season in the Bundesliga and they’ll be hoping for a better run than last year when they finished just two points clear of the relegation play-off spot.

However, it hasn’t been the best of starts. Bochum are one of six teams in the Bundesliga still awaiting their first win of the season after four matches, opening with a 5-0 defeat to Stuttgart. But, they are also unbeaten in their last three, holding Borussia Dortmund, Augsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt to draws.
